Naturopathic Medicine

Medically Trained, Naturally Focused.

Our Philosophy

Naturopathic Doctors are family care physicians who have the goal of understanding why you’re feeling the way you do, so that we can work to treat the underlying causes of your health concerns.

We address the symptoms that your other doctors might overlook, under-appreciate, or over-medicate.

We assess you as a whole person.

Based on your health history, physical exam, and lab test results, we create an individualized treatment plan.

We focus on natural treatments including dietary support, nutritional supplements, herbal medicine, lifestyle counselling, and acupuncture. We embrace the use of medication when needed.

Our top priority is that you receive the gold standard of care. This includes a full explanation of lab test results, medications and supplements, and making sure we take the time to answer all your questions.

It’s your body, and you should always be in control of your own health.

Sincerely,

Dr. Hilary Chambers, ND

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

IBS is a broad diagnosis that includes bloating, indigestion, and irregular bowel movements. Your ND will address the cause: gut flora, food intolerances, stress, meal habits, and more, to get your digestive health back on track.

Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

Inflammatory Bowel Disease can be supported with nutrition, supplements, and working with your medications to improve symptoms and long term prognosis.

Mental Health

Anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia, and fatigue. Lab testing, nutrition, supplements and lifestyle support can boost mood and energy to help get you back to feeling your best.

Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)

An overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine leads to significant bloating, fatigue, nausea, and constipation or diarrhea. Lab testing and a clinically effective treatment can eradicate SIBO to normalize digestion and prevent reoccurance.

Heartburn

Heartburn can be caused by too much stomach acid, too little acidity, herniation, infection or inflammation. Your ND will treat the cause to reduce the need for medication and help you get back to eating the foods you love.

Autoimmune Disease

Eczema, Hashimoto's, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Sjogren's, and more. Your ND will work with your medications and specialists, address nutrition, inflammation, and gut health to reduce symptoms and improve your long term health.
