My name is Amanda Pearse
Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist

Amanda-Lee Pearse (she/her) is a licensed and registered social worker and psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate mental health challenges. Amanda holds a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Studies and an Honours Bachelor of Social Work, both from Toronto Metropolitan University as well as several specialized training certificates.
 

Amanda offers therapy for individuals seeking guidance and support around gender and sexual identity, ADHD, anxiety, depression, parenting, and life transitions.
 

As a white, queer, cis-gendered female, Amanda is committed to fostering an inclusive, anti-racist, queer-friendly, and sex-positive environment where everyone feels safe and respected. Her approach is grounded in Harm Reduction and Trauma-Informed perspectives and incorporates techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to meet each individual’s unique needs.
